*Call For ``Charlas´´ (CFCh)*

 CaFeLUG - Grupo de Usuarios de Software Libre de la Capital Federal,
llama a la participación de la comunidad de software libre a sus
Conferencias Abiertas de Software Libre y GNU/Linux(CaFeConf). 
   
   El evento se llevará a cabo durante los días 2 y 3 de Octubre
2010 en la Universidad Argentina de la Empresa - UADE - Lima 717
(Capital Federal).

   La temática del evento es sobre la tecnología del Software Libre
aplicada a la educación y al tercer sector (Organizaciones no 
gubernamentales), por supuesto, también tendrá lugar muchas otras temáticas
relacionadas al Software Libre pero estas serán las primordiales.

   El autor de cada charla seleccionada podrá participar
presencialmente, como orador en el evento. En los casos en que la charla
sea realizada por varios autores, se permitirá un máximo de 3 oradores. 

Aclaración: Por cuestiones presupuestarias, CaFeLUG sólo podrá abonar
algunos de los pasajes, total o parcialmente, a los autores
seleccionados que residan fuera de Capital Federal o Gran Buenos Aires.

*Dónde enviar las Charlas*

    Las charlas tienen que ser enviadas en texto plano y como archivo
adjunto (en algún formato libre [1]) a la siguiente dirección de correo
electrónico charlas arroba cafeconf.org. Las charlas van a ser recibidas
hasta el 10 de Septiembre inclusive.


*Cómo enviar las Charlas*

El envío de la propuesta de charla debe tener los siguientes datos:

    * Título:
    * Autor(es): Nombre y apellido, breve descripción de cada uno, foto,
lugar de residencia, asociación, LUG, organismo, o empresa a la que
pertenece, si corresponde.
    * Tipo : Puede ser Charla tradicional o Taller (Con PC)
    * Tiempo estimado de duración: Las charlas generalmente son de 45' y
los talleres tiene una duración de 1:45. En caso de que sea mayor o
menor el tiempo requerido solicitamos su justificación. 
    * Breve descripción de la charla: Uno o dos párrafo(s) que explique
-no tan brevemente- el contenido de la presentación.
    * Nivel objetivo de la charla: Clasificar dentro de: newbie
(nuevo)/intermedio/avanzado/experto)
    * Tipo de publico: Público en general, promotores de SL, alumnos de
escuelas medias, alumnos de educación superior, docentes de escuelas
medias, docentes en general, capacitadores.
    * Conocimientos previos: Especificar que conocimientos previos
deberán tener los asistentes.
    * Temática: temática general a la que pertenece la charla
(educación, kernel, programación, multimedia, comunicaciones, estación
de trabajo, servicios de red, interoperabilidad, etc.)
    * Temática Educación: Herramientas de gestión para establecimientos
educativos, herramientas para docentes, experiencias docentes,
experiencias directivos, casos de éxitos en establecimientos educativos,
propuesta de planes de estudio, etc.
    * Teléfono del/los autor/es: Para poder comunicarnos.
    * Residencia del/los autor/es.


[1] *Qué formato deben tener las Presentaciones*:

El envío de las diapositivas y/o presentaciones debe tener alguno de los
siguientes formatos:

    * OpenDocument presentation
    * HTML standard
    * Postscript
    * PDF
    * Texto plano


*Licencia*

Debe especificarse una licencia que permita que CaFeLUG distribuya el
material en un CD-Live o de Documentación y que permita ser descargado
del sitio web de CaFeLUG.

*Call For ``Papers´´ (CFCh)*

   Capital Federal - 2th and 3th October 2010

 CaFeLUG - Free Software User Group of Capital Federal,
calls for the participation of the Free Software community to it's
open GNU/Linux and Free Software Conference (CaFeConf).

   The event will take place the 2th and 3th of October 2007 at
the  "Universidad Argentina de la Empresa" - UADE - Lima 717 
(Capital Federal).

   The theme of the event is Free Software's technology applied
towards education and to the "third sector" (Non-governmental 
Organizations), and of course, there will also be many other themes
related to Free Software, although those will be the main ones.

   The author of each chosen talk will be able to participate
both by speaking and attending at the event. In the case where
there are multiple authors for a specific talk, only 3 speakers
will be allowed.

Note: Due to budget reasons, CaFeLUG will only be able to pay for
a few travel expenses, total or partially, for the speakers selected
who reside outside of Capital Federal or Gran Buenos Aires.

*Where to send the Papers*

    The papers must be sent in plain text or as an attachment (in some
open / free format [1]) to the following email address: charlas at cafeconf.org.
The talks will be received until September 2nd included.

*How to send the Papers*

The papers sent must have the following information:

    * Title:
    * Author(s): First and last name, brief description of each one,
picture, place of residence, association, LUG or company to which he
belongs, if applies.
    * Type: It can be a traditional talk or a workshop (with a PC)
    * Estimated duration: The talks are generally 45min, and the workshops
1h 45min. In case you need more (or less) time, please express why/
    * Brief description of the talk: One or two paragraph(s) that explain
-not too briefly- the content of the presentation.
    * Target level of the talk: Classify within: newbie/intermediate/
advanced/expert.
    * Type of target audience: General interest, Free Software advocates,
high school students, higher education students, high school teachers,
teachers in general and trainers.
    * Previous knowledge: Please specify what previous knowledge the
audience must have.
    * Theme: General theme the talk belongs in (education, kernel,
programming, multimedia, communication, workstations, network services,
interoperability, etc.)
    * Educational Theme: Tools to manage educational establishments, tools
for teachers, teacher experiences, management experiences, success stories
in education establishments, study plan proposals, etc.
    * Phone number(s) of the author(s): To be able to get in touch with you
    * Place of Residence of the author(s).


[1]*What format may the Presentations be in*
The presentations sent in must have one of the following formats:

    * OpenDocument presentation
    * HTML standard
    * Postscript
    * PDF
    * Plain Text


*License*

You must specify a license that allows CaFeLUG to distribute the material
in a LiveCD or documentation, and that allows it to be downloaded from
CaFeLUG's website.
